His speech was a brave and honest appeal to try to shake up/wake up the GOP *abdication* to Trump’s reign of terror. Yet NYT ‘analysis’ of the speech suggests Governer Newsom’s ‘subtext’ was only a 2028 campaign kickoff. ARGGGG. It was shameful for NYT to frame Newsom in that manner in these times.
