The Hoff Crab is neither a crab nor is it David Hasselhoff. It is a Yeti Crab, which is neither a Yeti nor a Crab but a sub-group of Squat Lobsters, which are not lobsters, they're Anomurans, like Mole Crabs, which are neither moles, nor crabs.

As a data point, I gave a talk to a standing-room-only gathering of the new Abundance Law Society at ASU today. I doubt I (or the Washington Post) was the reason for the crowd; rather, I think some share of youths are mad about the cost of housing especially & find value in the abundance framework.

It’s a good article. Addressing climate change involves tradeoffs and sometimes green advocates push policy ideas that don’t meet any reasonable cost benefit test. It would be better — better politics, better for the poor, etc — not to do that.
