He did this last time and it didn’t work so he should figure out a new strategy. It’s possible to do garbage pickup w/o displacing ppl, discarding meds, IDs, making it harder for them to get back on their feet. It’s not possible to perpetuate failed systems & wonder why the problem isn’t improving

We dont have enough drug treatment, mental health treatment, or supportive services to help people get into housing. We DO have money to violently displace people, which has resulted in the deaths of many unhoused people. I know they’re just an afterthought for everyone because they don’t have power

Actually because the state overturned measure 110 under minimal pressure from business interests, a drug treatment center for queer people with AIDs in our district lost a ton of funding. That’s Prism health. These legislators selfishly thought about their reelections, not the long term impacts
