Congratulations to American voters for giving Republicans control of the House so they could endlessly fight with each other, do nothing of substance, and be so dysfunctional that Congress is shut down during a global crisis and they can’t even agree upon a Speaker.

Israelis on average have 3.2 family members. People on average have 150 stable relationships. I made this to give a rough sense of the amount of people who have been impacted by the attacks. We tend to only measure a tragedy by the amount killed. But it is always larger than we can imagine.

I keep getting stuck on this sentence: "But precisely because left-wing critics of Israeli apartheid lack power, we must not forfeit our moral authority." It doesn't seem like there's any moral authority left to forfeit after the last few days.
