The plumber I use travels by cargo e-bike for jobs that don't need the load space of a van. He avoids congestion so gets around quicker, what's not to like about it

Pick up terrifying speeds near those walking, wheeling & cycling. In that context, good to see Deliveroo saying it will self police riders whose average speeds are too high. What we also need is an end to approach that sees riders incentivised to take serious risks to selves & others just to earn.
Show PostReputable, street legal conversion kits & reputable ebikes tap out assist at 15.5mph & require pedalling. Not only are these safer for riders themselves as no reported battery/charger fires etc. (see ebikepositive.co.uk for growing list of 'marked safe' ebikes), but means gig economy riders won't...
