One would be good and the other would be bad because one cause is good and the other is bad. We are not in the realm of procedural justice concerns anymore, liberalism is not obligated to be neutral on the question of its own existence.

Apparently at around 1:30 PM ET, the main accounts for the No Kings coalition on Instagram were frozen and pulled down. Admins have lost access to the account and are unable to log in. This happened at the peak of the organization's national day of action. Instagram, of course, is owned by Meta.

That should certainly be the trigger for all governments in Europe to eliminate their dependence on MS, and, indeed, ALL US tech companies, because Apple and Google have bent the knee in other ways.

We're all acting like this is such an egregious thing to hear an American military commander say when we just lived through 20 years of them swearing they were "turning a corner" in Afghanistan and the Taliban were totally defeated year after year.
