I actually try to ignore my bad habits in a first draft. Then i often do a bunch of global searches after (one for “just”, for example!) and then focus more going firward #kidlitchat

I love to use "just" and "very" as many times as possible in my 1st draft because it's so satisfying when I delete them. I feel like I've really tightened my 2nd draft! #kidlitchat
