This stopped me in my tracks. An independent study by @qmul.bsky.social has found that after ULEZ was introduced, children’s lungs grew faster in Central London and have now caught up with children outside of the capital. Incredible.

Yesterday was our last day at #NewScientistLive! We ended on a high - by speaking to the scientists of the future! 🔬 100s of young people came with their schools and clubs, joining us to learn about marvellous microbes and give their thoughts on the school dinner dilemma.
