Great to meet with Housing Secretary Angela Rayner today to discuss delivering the social and affordable homes we need, and working together to end rough sleeping.
Show PostIt was good to join the #politicslondon panel to discuss @sadiqkhanlondon.bsky.social’s ten years as Mayor of London: 🏗️ Record numbers of affordable homes started across City Hall housing programmes, around 90,000 of which are complete. 🏡 Nearly 30,000 new council homes delivered or underway.
Show PostThe City Hall Developer Investment Fund continues the work started by the Mayor’s Land Fund, with a focus on using funding flexibly to get stalled sites moving again, particularly those that can deliver new homes as quickly as possible.
Show PostI’m delighted to announce that City Hall has agreed a £50m loan to Peabody to support delivery of 500 affordable homes. This comes on the day we launch the funding guidance for the initial £324m of @london.gov.uk’s new City Hall Developer Investment Fund. www.housingtoday.co.uk/news/khan-ap...
Show PostIt was a joy to visit Wingspan Walk today where Haringey Council have built 272 brand new council homes. All the homes are Passivhaus - super energy efficient. They’re some of the 1000 new council homes the borough has built, supported with funding from @london.gov.uk.
