Japan's golden age of gaming, from our archive. This week: Bosconian (X68000, ©Dempa Shimbunsha 1988) — the programmer was supposed to be porting something else entirely. Copying the arcade was never going to be enough. www.patreon.com/gamepres/pos...

Had fun speaking with @bloopmuseum today at CppCon; if you’re here, swing by their booth while they’re around! I haven’t been yet, but they’ve apparently bought out a huge abandoned government building in Pittsburgh and are filling it with a ton of vintage computing equipment.

The Bloop Museum is awesome! Drove 8 hours to visit it with my son a few months back! Great to hear it's getting some celebrity endorsements :-)

One of my favorite moments from #vcfmw this year was when @thegirlg33k.com let me test picoide out on her PC-9821 and do some IDE bus captures. After some shenanigans with drive geometry it booted right up off the picoide! And CD works too! Thanks again for letting me crash your table 😅
