Glad to see the @nytimes.com finally reporting on the harms of repeat Covid infections. But I will say many doctors are sadly still dismissive about long Covid - if they truly were concerned, they'd be wearing N95 masks around patients.

Reinfections are NOT "a fact of life" if you mask consistently with good, well-fit elastomeric respirators. I've never had Covid. Neither has my spouse. Neither has our roommate. We mask all the time in public. COVID IS NOT INEVITABLE. YOU CAN AVOID IT. I HAVE DONE SO. bsky.app/profile/gayf...
