Passing by the Tron Steeple at 1500 hrs yesterday and caught St Mungo with his revolving fish and flapping bird. The sculpture by sharmanka.com was restored as part of the Tron Steeple project/Glasgow 850 celebrations supported by Glasgow Institute if Architects and @GlasgowHeritage.bsky.social

I can't remember which of you tipped me off that the Kentigern statue on the Tron steeple is working again, but thank you. For the uninitiated: on the hour he rings his bell, his wee bird flaps its wings, and his salmon revolves slowly with an air of utter unimpressedness.

It’s 2026. If this Government are genuinely claiming citizens need to prepare stockpiles, they’re unfit to lead. Doubly so if one of the justifications is Climate Crisis, while they’re busy opening up another North Sea venture.
