Very sorry to report that Douglas Dunn has passed away. He was the finest Scottish poet of the post-war period. Dougie was also someone we knew and loved as a dear friend, mentor and teacher, and he will be deeply missed.

Lovely photo. I used to take loads of pictures of that view when I was in Mount Florida, because it's bloody gorgeous. I didn't have a proper zoom lens but you could get surprisingly good shots with a phone camera I also liked popping over the hill and getting photos of the turbines against the sky
