I know Man City hasn't been sentenced yet and could still just get a slap on the wrist, but I'm actually kinda buoyed by the verdict because I totally thought they'd get to stall and manoevre their way out of this with sheer force of deep pocket lawyering

Growing up in Billy Graham evangelicalism, the epitome of a great Christian leader-man was if they had a story where they shared the gospel on an airplane. As an introvert this was a recipe for accepting my not-greatness pretty early on – which is something I'm kinda thankful for.
