I’ve heard that some “option 2” advocates have been encouraging people who choose that option on question 10 to not vote on the others because it will be moot. No idea how much that will happen, but it’s one of the things I’m looking at.

One thing I have no clue about at all is how much variation there will be in support for the 9 non-separation questions in the Alberta referendum(s). Having heard basically no discussion about the questions specifically, I wonder how separately people are treating them. #ableg

All of the campaigning I’ve seen has been either “no to the nine” or “yes to the nine” - encouraging voters to treat them like a slate, not individual questions. Most voters I know (including yours truly) have made up their minds to vote accordingly. That means that the government would be wrong…

Whoever wins the WH will help determine critical questions: who reaps the gains of AI, whether the tech can be used for mass surveillance, and how much power a handful of tech companies can have over US society. Not great if prez is bedfellows w/ tech oligarch and ppl who don't believe in liberalism
