What exactly does “absolution” mean to you? If someone murders one person and then saves the lives of twenty more, then they are an objectively positive presence. Geller has damaged one life and enriched millions more. Why do you view harm as carrying more moral weight than an equivalent help?

If his content had been buried because of a piece of his personal history, that would also have been a grave injustice to all the people that have been helped and inspired by those videos. The world would be a worse place if he wasn't where he is now.

Show PostYes. Correct. I called it a stupid action in the comment you're replying to. Unfortunately, groomers can and will coerce people, including adults, into doing things that stupid. And not all adults are capable of resisting that manipulation, especially ones who have already been victimised.
