This would be bad enough, but we are beyond even this now. We have entire blue states enacting anti-trans policy, and entire State Democratic Parties censoring their LGBTQ+ caucus from criticizing candidates on trans issues.

The refusal to even put her in a male ward should really illustrate to cis people that even if sex was binary and immutable (which it is not), what GCs and other transphobes want is not about strictly adhering to one's assign sex at birth. It's about wanting trans people to die in isolation.
