The Harper's Letter was published in July 2020. Notwithstanding context (mths into Covid pandemic & lockdowns + global Black Lives Matter protests) it's uncanny how its signatories double as a list of the biggest red flags & how the letter's really a bad faith, do-harm manifesto fr the worst people

Obviously the pain of being cut off is real! But I guess I don’t understand why the social crisis is their pain—the phenomenon’s upshot—when the real crisis is clearly the phenomenon’s cause: parent-led parent-child relationships that the child finds intolerable.
