Can't get her to eat anything I put out yet. If she shows again and eats the egg, I have some hope I can reliably feed her some anti-infectives and will do so.

Hesitant to chime in because the issue is related but not the same. You'd be surprised how many disabled pwME are actually the ones doing the grant- and paper-writing, though their names never appear on anything. I have very mixed feelings on this.
