This is why I enjoy the 3-month DOS game jams, like the MS-TRES jam currently ongoing! It's chill, you can go group or solo, and there's often a lot of cooperation and learning that happens along the way since nobody cares about ranking, just having fun

The first one was floated on twitter right as AI artwork was starting to become manifest in 2022 and I saw a lot of people expressing burnout. This has not really improved since tbh. But once a year* you can ignore all that and just write something, right now. You'll have a great time, I promise.
