In 1998, you were probably the only “techie” in your hayes valley Victorian and not in a polycule of clones. One roommate worked for The City (your rent control anchor). One was a paralegal in a punk band. Two did “admin work” at “banks”. One sold pot. What I’m saying is, diversity matters.
