The police should not make assumptions on the spot, i understand they always face people who have been arressted make false claims. However the police have a duty of care et al to take if the person's claims otherwise more cases like Henry Novak will happen. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Illegal immigration isn't that big a problem. Even if it were, digital ID cards would not be an effective solution. And even if they were, they give too much power to the state. I am a liberal, and I am against this sort of thing.
