I was an assault boat coxswain on the USS Trenton LPD-14 in the 1970s, and we repeatedly bombed the bejesus out of that place in "operational" drills. There is no doubt in my mind we have done unspeakable damage to the place and the people. We owe them everything, and that still won't be enough.

Congrats to James Walkinshaw on his special election victory to the US House. He absolutely crushed it. He'll be representing Virginia's CD-11. James Walkinshaw (D) 74.9% Stewart Whitson (R) 25.1%

I'm proud of the Harris-Walz Virginia Team's wins last year including the 34-point victory in the 11th, but James Walkinshaw is on a pace to crush that margin tonight. 130,000 votes in (the VA-4 special in '23 had 110,000 when all votes were counted) with more precincts out and he's up 50 points!!
