I'm still chewing on this. If they're really not going to extend the deadline, at least make it 11:59pm ET rather than 5pm ET. For anyone west of the U.S. East Coast, that's even less of our workday available to wrap this up. 😩
Show PostI'm seriously considering not doing AMS Annual in January specifically because their WE WILL NOT EXTEND THE DEADLINE messaging for submitting abstracts almost immediately after the mini AMS Annual in Madison is... far from ideal. Especially since extensions have been normalized for some time.
