The frustrating thing about this game is that half of the googling & video result is false advertizing. The cool alliance mechanic is gone, half of the minis are gone, half of the factions barely have any minis left. Which is a really weird context for a new edition. It feels like a sinking ship.

I saw a short about the idea of GenAI being used effectively like the "Level to hard lets hold your hand" system that ALREADY EXISTS in a few games. most of those are either pre-recorded, OR so linear RNG plays no part. But... you have the code, you don't need GenAI to make a 'cheating' cpu.

I started my first ever playthrough of Pokemon TCG for Gameboy Color last night. SUCH FUN! The soundtrack is awesome, the matches are exciting, and every time you win you get all the thrill of ripping a vintage booster pack for free.99.
