I had a really similar experience. After some routine bloods I got a message from the GP surgery basically saying "we don't want to alarm you, but your tests show you are anaemic". Cue me having to explain to my GP that the E they've been prescribing for 2 years lowers my levels to female ranges.

yes. I had an argument with a well meaning doctor about how the latest study on E baselines had a wider range of 'normal' than the outdated numbers and was simply not believed, even with the research right in front of me, like... it's wild

A shocking number of doctors are in a perpetual state of re-learning that you can change your sex. They don't think it can happen but then are amazing every time they see a trans person's labs
