I think there’s a very good reason to investigate this in the context of 230 reform: what triggers made this happen? Just because the First Amendment may protect the editorial decision to do this doesn’t mean that editorial decision should get a separate statutory immunity.

I believe that since S’s amplification of A’s post is S speaking, S should bear liability for the consequences of its speech. This scenario shows why s.230 is no longer fit for purpose: it was enacted as a shield, not as a sword.
