yup this is why I insisted one of us go under the other’s insurance when we had our kid. Heard stories of what a pita it was.

We had twins who were born prematurely and spent three weeks in the NICU. We had doctors coming and going the entire time, some we only talked to once . We didn’t even think to check whether a particular dictor was covered by our insurance or not.
