Can't discuss a lot of pastoral care here, but, I have satisfied myself that tea is the best pastoral care prop. Folks accept tea, but never finish it. They pick it up and put it down and gesture with it and maybe sip a bit. BUT the something to pick up and put down is really good, it appears. 🕯️
