The goals of the AI companies and humanity are severely misaligned … across a much wider domain than mathematics. Thank you for this. The problem is not AI per se in my view, but the culture of the companies developing it.

JK Rowling correcting the delusional Maugham. He appears to be now in fugue state. Where every set-back is seen only a justification of his righteousness with no pause taken to assess his behaviour. I think it's a fair observation that Jolyon Maugham is not coming back to reality anytime soon.
