Yes we can all laugh at SpaceX's incentive plan which requires Musk to establish a human colony on Mars to earn shares, but he gets them now, and can vote them now. They just don't "vest" until he establishes the colony. He gets dividends and can pledge them for loans, w/ "board approval"

SpaceX's IPO says it is "improbable" Musk ever meets his incentive milestones for a Mars colony and "non-Earth-based data centers." But that's not candor, it's so they can book the cost at $0. If the company ever says it's "probable," the company suddenly eats a massive expense for it. /14
