In the Encounters book, one of the suggested uses of the Heal skill functions almost exactly the same as a revivify spell. It surprised me when I first read it, but I think it goes to show players that In DS, you shouldn’t limit yourself to just what’s written on the character sheet.

like. getting puzzled at how it's even possible to have non-combat options work is so weird to me, given that my background is call of cthulhu, and the entire goddamn game is non-combat options and then mearls' answer is like "what if we de-powered the players" ...

i don't know the best time to opine about the possibility of rehabilitation and restorative justice and so on but the worst time is 5 minutes after one of your favs is outed doing something terrible

I don’t know what restorative justice looks like in a case like this. I don’t know what it means to hold someone accountable. But I do know how painful it is to see someone admit to doing sexual violence against someone else and a crowd of people immediately rush to minimize it as a youthful mistake
