Big no around my circles. I might not know whether who cut/tore it even washed their hands first. Also, I think exposing the inner donut to outside air would make it go stale faster.

Would this be cool from another more credible person or manufacturer? Maybe, but also it’s difficult to imagine any of them doing this because it’s an obvious waste of time for the sake of novelty. It fits the Musk pattern: his target audience is contemptible rubes that can be dazzled by tricks.
