From what I've heard, the deal to pursue the merger is chock-full of so many poison pills that Paramount gets nothing but punishment. I'm not scared for WB- they've been surviving failing and stupid owners for a long time.

I don't really know what to make of the merger; I don't have the industry insight. But it's plain to everyone that the head of Paramount's only after this merger because he's a Trump sycophant who wants to shutdown CNN, and the deal they had to take to pursue it puts CNN under an independent board.
