honestly several things that have happened on bluesky including repeated actions by its leadership make me feel incredibly unsafe here and if i didn't need social media to promote my games and make rent i would not be here

It's not easier it just shifts the difficulty curve to a different part of the game. Classic inputs have the difficulty curve like as soon as you start playing and you can't do a fireball. Modern inputs remove that and place it at the end when you're wanting to do advanced tech.

And I guess the hope is by the time you will have hit the difficulty curve on modern controls you will allready like the game and want to continue rather than just bouncing off cause you can't even get your foot in the door.
