I always saw this as "domain expansion" thing. When magical being reaches certain power level it can create pocket dimension best suited for their powers. Good example is Tsukuyomi fight. Only after empowering herself with spite and suffering she can finally form her domain.

Some are, some aren't. Like, I imagine Zodiark flipping the literal perception of the battlefield and it's structure as well. Meanwhile, I imagine Shantotto's fight plays out exactly like it does in game because she's merely playing around.

A lot of those cases where random platforms for trials they dont exist making the fight more hectic and dangrous. But the endsinger stuff that platform on top of shinryu does form because it better then y'dyalani and zenos working more together and she abandons his help for p2 of fight #Ydyakanilore
