My best game review experience ever was taking Mass Effect 2 home for Christmas 2009. I shattered all NDA protocol by showing my best friend the opening sequence of the Normandy blowing up. That game was pure magic from master storytellers.
Show PostRIP BioWare. Obviously mismanaged to shit and genuinely frustrating that no one behind that will ever see any consequences for it. Every one of their games in that 360 generation felt like a glimpse of the future, in terms of world building and storytelling. It was squandered.
