TBH my school reacts quickly on matters such as harassment or bullying. I think it has to do with how important or urgent we make sth seem. We have to remember: something that seems "childish" to us, for our students is very significant! We should treat each time seriously #TeacherEd #SafeSchools

I have had to personally sign a HIB form for a student. Bullying is taken seriously in my school. They have separated students into different classes if is a ongoing problem.

Conferences with guidance counselors while also offering mediation between those that seemed to have issues. It’s hard enough acting in front of a class while also seeing people who already judge you laugh because you’re trying to create. #dramaed #teachered #safespace

GoGuardian is almost a necessity in my classroom - we are 1-to-1 with chrome books, without monitoring my students it would be very difficult to keep them on task. My favorite method is using 'scenes' that completely block sites other than the ones I want students using. #TeacherEd #Edtech
