Agreed. One trick I use to get students to open up is asking them "why" in private conversations - they are all the hero's of their own stories, but I get valuable information (timeline, locations, etc) out of their responses anyway.

I think a lot of others have experienced bullying in their life as some point, so we know how tough it is to deal with. Because we’ve seen the signs ourselves, we must do our part to uplift our students and create a healthy school culture to ensure everyone is happy and healthy #teachered #safespace
