Huawei’s progress is a reminder that the U.S. advantage can’t be taken for granted. The answer isn’t simply pushing NVIDIA out of China, because that gives Huawei more scale and real-world deployment. Keeping NVIDIA ahead in chips, CUDA, is what makes the U.S. technology advantage harder to replace.
