Church Street Pedestrianization ribbon cutting & press conference this morning to celebrate most of the street furniture built & painted! I got to talk to media about the need for more ped streets & a more flexible “can do” framework that problem solves instead of saying no.

Church Street Pedestrianization in action on a busy Saturday night! Keep in mind this is the weekend after Pride festivities which is usually quieter cuz all the gays are tired, but people still decided to rally and come out to enjoy the street, which would usually be reopened to cars by now.
