Compare the number of studies and consultations done to put in the Bloor St. bike lanes and the High Park movement strategy compared to the number of studies and consultations done to remove them. The car-brained argument is just "it's common sense!" and that seems to be enough. It's infuriating!

You know my opinion on city consultations, but it strikes me that the process legitimizes complaints by giving one step removal from the actual thing being opposed. ie, "I'm not necessarily opposed to this thing happening, I just want to have a more thorough consultation." It's a time wasting tactic
