When I was a kid and computer voices were unheard of, my dad (always cutting-edge) brought home a program that would read text aloud. My sisters & I had SO MUCH FUN writing stories with words the computer would mispronounce, then see how much we had to misspell to get it to read right #KidLitChat

Critique buddies sharing their thoughts. Switching font type & size works surprisingly well. Printing it out. Reading it aloud & listening to the computer read it to me. Reading it to my granddaughter & watching her face for confusion or delight. I'm following for more ideas! #kidlitchat
