A lot of meetings have people waiting to talk the whole meeting which runs long then ends suddenly. Meetings like Agile #Retrospectives work best when deliberately #overlong with uncomfortable silences encouraging people to say their minds. A good facilitator can usually tease a team into talking.

As part of my work I have to run a lot of meetings and I've taken to having to say things like, "I need y'all to tell me what I get wrong, interrupting me to let me know is a good thing" otherwise people just wait till way too late to let me know. Like, they wait till after decisions have been made.
