I know the feeling. I've got a heart defect that makes manual labor extremely difficult. Just mowing the lawn is like a day long ordeal for me because I keep having to stop for breaks so my heart doesn't explode. I'm constantly getting fined by the city for not doing it enough. Lawns are absurd.

I'm unable to move due to factors entirely outside my control and thanks to everything becoming more expensive and being fired from my better paying job with better insurance for being too neurodivergent, I'm further from happiness than I've ever been.

🫂 I need it so bad because it's the biggest source of my dysphoria and as a result the biggest source of my bad thoughts. When I pointed this out the surgeon tried to make it my therapist's problem but she agrees with me that you can't therapy your way out of a need for surgery.
