One thing I always hate about Food Discourse is that dietary restrictions are real and potentially life threatening if disregarded and yet most people consider them impolite fads or choices. Our refusal to accept, let alone accommodate, dietary restrictions is one of the most ableist things we do.

"localized to one city" this happened in nearly every city across the country. Even my tiny town had a demonstration. You have no idea what you're talking about lol. There are serious things going on stop guessing at what is happening.
