Saw him last night and he was as good as I expected not just as an orator but as a hopeful human who strives to make the world better. All he is asking is for everyone else to do their best and have faith in humanity that decent people will do the decent thing. 🤞

Very much this. My significant other and I were discussing if we should have expected more of an emotional appeal, but settled on the fact that it's not his job anymore. I felt some hope though that the actions of normal people can still bring change.

Saw him in Belfast earlier this week. What struck me was that he - more like an academic than a politician - would deeply dive into the questions, connect them to wider thoughts, and expect his audience to follow. I miss the era of intellectual politicians. Now there are very few to none.
