I don't know that I would assume as you do about those making a fuss, but have not seen any data on their consumption habits. Although there was a recent study on upper middle class people being more talk than environmental action iirc..

It does solve some of our problems, energy security, reduced carbon from imports and jobs. On the other hand our net zero policy is toast!
