Mine decided it would be a good idea to jump through a hoop of barbed wire and got trussed up like a turkey. I had to stand in a river untangling him. Luckily only flesh wounds that are now healing up.

One of mine did the same but with a carp boilie. Luckily hook lodged in her throat. Still had to visit 2 vets then a specialist clinic to get it out. French vets are cheaper so only cost 600 euros. Can def recommend the book. On my second reading of it and still finding new things to laugh at

A Canadian mate's dog decided to take on a porcupine. Over 100 needles, some in his throat, removed at the vet. Next day, porcupine back in garden. Dog back to vet. And day 3. And day 4. Eventually the porcupine showed it had greater learning ability and stayed where the dog couldn't get it.
