Like, don't get me wrong, absolutely protest both Democrats and Republicans when there is injustice, since it's just fundamental to our democracy...but if you're only protesting the side that won't try to retaliate against you, it just tells me that your protest isn't worth shit.

My theory is that they believe he is "safer" to protest against than Republicans, since Dems aren't likely to retaliate against protesters.... however, this just makes it clear that the protesters don't actually care about being actually brave against injustice, just the appearance that they are.

i will say it was encouraging to see WA voters in 2024 maintain tax increases the legislature imposed. let's see if we can do that again this cycle.
